October 2026
From October 24 to 26, 2026, Lama Sonam Tashi Rinpoche of Ngagyur Dundul Raptenling Monastery in Odisha, India, gave the empowerment of the Dudjom Thukje Chenpo Self-Entry in Klang, Malaysia. The programme took place at the Dharma centre of Ani Yeshe Drolma
The empowerment
Rinpoche bestowed the empowerment of the Dudjom Thukje Chenpo (the Great Compassionate One) Self-Entry (dagjug). Thukje Chenpo is Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of compassion. This practice comes from the Dudjom Tersar lineage.
Offerings and prayers
Over the three days, Rinpoche also led extensive offerings of Riwo Sangchod (Mountain Smoke Offering), together with prayer rituals. In this practice, fragrant smoke is offered to the enlightened ones and shared with all beings.
Planting seeds of compassion
Rinpoche also gave introductions to the sacred Dharma, for the benefit of faithful young people. The aim was to plant seeds of love and compassion in the minds of many beings.
We dedicate this virtue so that the teachings of the Buddha may flourish, and so that all beings may practise the holy Dharma. With gratitude to Ani Yeshe Drolma and everyone who helped host these days, we respectfully share a few photographs below.
