Establishing the Wisdom for Future Generations
Before 1959, in Tibet, His Holiness Dudjom Jigdral Yeshe Dorje established Rigzin Ghatseling Monastery in Kongpo. Following the events of 1959, His Holiness recognized the urgent need to prevent the degeneration of the Dharma in exile.
With the support of the Government of Odisha and guidance from the Tibetan Government-in-Exile, he founded Dundul Raptenling Monastery in Orissa—a sacred place dedicated to the study and practice of the Nyingma tradition.
Today, the monastery continues to nurture young monks, preserving ancient wisdom and ensuring the Dharma remains alive for generations to come.

1st Lopon Graduation Certification Event
On The 11th day of the 1st month of the Wood-Snake Year, which corresponds to March 10, 2025, As requested by the monastery’s lama Kalsang Nyima Rinpoche and the monastery’s head lama Sonam Tashi, Kyabje Gyalse Rinpoche, Kyabje Degyel Choktrul Rinpoche, and local leader Khenpo Pema Tenpel, as well as the lamas and monks of Ngagyur Dudul Rabten Ling Monastery, representatives and monks and nuns from Ngagyur Namkha Khyung Dzong Monastery, representatives from Rigon Thubten Mindrol Ling, representatives from Jangchub Choeling Monastery, the local parliament chairperson, the chairperson of the Truth Committee, the presidents of the Youth Association and Women’s Association, the Mtcs chairman, leaders of 5 camps and camp no 3 community graced the 1st Lopon Graduation certification event of the Ngagyur Shenphen shedrupling.
